"Today's Master Craftsman"

Amphitheater ‒Turn Park Sculpture Park

West Stockbridge, Massachusetts
Marble Amphitheater
Designed by the international acclaimed Russian architect  Alexander Konstantinov and built by Verne Tower of Tower Stone, the Amphitheater is set amidst bold land forms and dramatic rock outcroppings of an abandoned quarry. With meticulous attention and sensitivity to the character, cutting, shaping and placement of each stone, Verne Tower has created an architectural work of art that is both rustic and elegant. Placed at the center of Turn Park, the Amphitheater serves as a focal point in the landscape, a gathering place for visitors and a performance venue.

Marble Steps for
HANCOCK SHAKER VILLAGE

Using local Berkshire marble, these steps were cut, hand tooled and carefully aged with a rustic patina by Verne Tower to replicate and replace the original Shaker steps. The result is almost impossible to tell from the original steps and is totally in keeping with the character and austere charm of the building’s historic architecture, as well as its surroundings.
